We hope Myers Park United Methodist Church can be a place for you as a young adult to build friendships, navigate life, have fun, and grow in your relationship with God with others. Being young in a new city can be overwhelming and isolating, so we hope church can be a place where you feel seen, known, and loved.

FAQs
Am I a young adult?
Some of us don’t feel like adults yet, and some of us don’t feel young anymore. Typically we consider young adults to be around 22-35. We are flexible, so feel free to join even if you are outside that range!
What if I have kids?
You are welcome to be a part of young adult ministries if you have kiddos! We don’t currently have child care, but if that’s a need for you, let us know and we can set that up! There are moms groups, and we are interested in starting groups specifically for that stage of life. If you’re looking for a group with other parents, reach out to Pastor Jessica at Jdayson@mpumc.org.
Is there a singles group?
The Gen Z /millennial group is specified for any stage of life. There are single people and couples. All stages of life are welcome!
Where do you meet?
We mix it up! Sometimes we meet at people’s homes, sometimes at bars/restaurants, or even at a park. We communicate via group text to decide where to be. We always prioritize ease of parking and location.
