Rev. Nathan Arledge

Pastor of Missions and Community Engagement

Nathan obtained his Master of Divinity degree from Duke University and received a certificate from Harvard Divinity School upon completion of the university’s Making Change course. He is passionate about making change in his community and our world, and teaching those around him to live differently. He has served on the boards of Loaves & Fishes in Charlotte and Faith Ministry in Reynosa, Mexico. Currently, he serves on the Southeastern Jurisdiction United Methodist Volunteers in Mission Development team and is chair of the Immigration Task Force of the Metro District in the WNCCUMC. Additionally, he works to close the gap between the way things are and the way they ought to be according to God’s Kingdom. Nathan is married to Molly, who is an Assistant Principal, and they have two lovely children: a son and a daughter. Nathan enjoys running, fishing, the Atlanta Braves, and playing at the park and traveling the state with his family. Nathan is an avid reader and appreciates a really great cup of coffee.
